Truck Crashes Into Train

Five people sent to hospital after pickup hauling horse trailer collides with freight train.


Five people were sent to hospital when a pick-up truck hauling a horse trailer collided with a freight train near Watford.

Lambton OPP say 44 year-old Jeffrey Tuckey was transferred to London Health Sciences Centre with serious injuries Saturday while 43 year-old Deborah Tuckey is in Strathroy Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Three children aged eight, nine and 11 were treated and released.

The train conductor wasn't hurt and the horses are ok.

Police continue to investigate.
