Goderich has seen generosity from communities, groups and individuals from all walks of life since the tornado hit in August.
Perhaps among the most inspiring and touching of those efforts comes from the Grade 6 class at Little Falls Public School in St. Marys.
Class representatives Hannah Kooy and Maia Moore stopped by Goderich Town Hall yesterday (FRI) to present 465-dollars raised from woven bracelets they made and sold.
Hannah says she was saddened by what she saw on television.
She felt she had to do something to help because of the widespread destruction to homes and businesses in Goderich.
She says reaction to the bracelets she and Maia produced was positive and immediate.
Hannah isn't sure how many kids bought the bracelets which were three-dollars each and two for five-dollars.
Maia is modest about her role in the fundraising effort.
She says Hannah was the promoter and that she was content to help make the bracelets.
The proceeds raised among their classmates go to the Goderich and Area Disaster Relief Fund.
