Meeting to Plant Trees

Goderich | by Rick Stow

If you have ideas on where to plant trees in Goderich, there is a meeting for you.

If you live in Goderich and have ideas on how and where to plant the many replacement trees the community is about to receive -- you are invited to share your thoughts at a "Public Spaces" meeting on September 24th.

Councillor Michelle Hanson says the meeting will be held at Goderich and District Collegiate Institute from 10 AM to Noon on Saturday September 24th.

The forum will not only deal with reconstruction of the Courthouse Park and the Square, but with how to best utilize any and all public spaces (i.e. parks) in town.

Hanson encourages you to bring your ideas on planting, or, for example, on where to put a statue of Tiger Dunlop -- to the meeting.
