159th annual Owen Sound Fall Fair begins today for three days at Victoria Park.

The 159th annual Owen Sound Fall Fair is getting underway at Victoria Park on Thursday.

The Quilt Show and Domestic Exhibits open at 4 PM along with Flower Demonstrations in the Coliseum and the Beer tent opens at the same time.

One of the highlights last year was the "Demo Cross" which was run in conjunction with the Demolition Derby.

1st Vice President of the Fall Fair, Rob Lipsett says this year the Demo Cross is running tonight, separate from the Demolition derby which remains on Saturday evening at 5:30 PM.

The Owen Sound Fall Fair runs three days.

On Friday the Regional 4-H show for sheep is held beginning at 11 AM, and the Great Lakes Tractor Pull is at 6:30 PM.

Saturday, there will be lawn mower races, face painting and the Midway is on along with more competitions.

Lipsett says the cost is 10 dollars for adults and 2 dollars for kids on Thursday evening.

For Friday and Saturday, the charge is 12 dollars for adults and 4 for kids.
