The students of Colborne Central Public School are getting used to the former Victoria School in Goderich.
After mould issues prompted the Avon-Maitland School Board to move the student body and teachers -- Manager of Communications Steve Howe says things are going smoothly.
Howe says the facilities department, the technology team, teachers and support staff have all been working over the last few weeks to make sure the former Victoria school was a good fit.
He says because it's also an older building, they did air quality tests and checked out the status of asbestos in the building.
As for Colborne, Howe says they gathered all the information on what needed to be done to fix the school over the summer.
Now a recommendation from staff to put it into an accommodation review will go to the School Board Trustees on September 13th for a vote.
