The Ontario Disaster Relief Assistance Program and the Goderich Disaster Relief Fund are raising money to help the people of Goderich after a deadly tornado struck the community.
Chair of Fundraising Matt Hoy says they're looking for money to help out the uninsured in Goderich.
Hoy says many people and businesses in town were displaced and in need of government funds to help rebuild their homes and lives.
The provincial government will match any funds two-to-one through ODRAP.
Hoy says people in need can come to the town hall on West Street for applications and will find help on how to complete the applications.
All applications will have to be in by the end of October in order to receive funds.
