With a new look, a rebuilt roster and a Championship to defend, the Owen Sound Attack resume their training camp today.
Recently acquired centre and former 2009 first overall pick Daniel Catenacci says he's fitting in just fine.
Catenacci tells us JP Cesario and Jordan Binnington are two of his best friends and he use to play with fan favourite Daniel Zweep so it was a great fit coming to the scenic city to play hockey.
The former Soo Greyhound says while being on a championship team is something new for him, he likes having a bulls eye on their backs heading into the regular season.
The 18 year old Catenacci had requested a trade from the Greyhounds after scoring 26 goals and 71 points in 67 games last OHL season.
He says there's a sense of pride in their dressing room that didn't exist in the Soo.
Attack forward Kurtis Gabriel received an invite to the Phoenix Coyotes Rookie camp this week.
The 18-year old Newmarket native says it's what he worked for all summer long.
Gabriel says only playing 40 games last season on a deep Attack roster motivated him to get bigger and better.
He says the scale is now tipping at over 200 pounds.
