No deal yet, but there seems to be plenty of interest in the Owen Sound Golf and Country Club.
Bayshore Broadcasting News has learned close to 30 parties have contacted the receiver for the 91 year old club.
Senior Vice President of BDO Canada, Bill Courage, says they are getting a lot of inquiries about the golf course that went into receivership last month.
He says the receiver will have to assess the interested parties over the next few weeks, and if appropriate -- may go to the membership for some feedback.
Courage says it is good the course has re-opened during the receivership process and he is hopeful a deal can be struck before the golf season ends.
The 91 year old golf club went bankrupt in July with a 1.1 million dollar debt owed to the Bank of Montreal and the volunteer board of directors resigned at that time.
