The Ontario Heritage Trust is in the area today to commemorate a bridge near Auburn.
A plaque is scheduled to be unveiled at Ball's Bridge today to showcase it's historical significance for Ontario.
The bridge was built in 1885 to cross the Maitland River, but was given a restricted load limit over a century later in 1989.
It was closed to traffic in 2006 but a community group lobbied for its preservation and restored it in 2007.
The unveiling takes place at 1:30 PM Thursday.
