The famous Sloman School Car will be celebrating its 30th anniversary at its present Central Huron site in 2012.
Representative of the Sloman School car Pamela Stanley says they will be celebrating by holding many events for children and adults.
They are currently in the planning stages for the party but Stanley tells us that first, work needs to be done on the vehicle.
The 100 year old rail car is one of 15 wooden cars left in Ontario.
Among things to fix, they need to re-do the roof as well as a paint job.
The group will seek grants, and is also looking to increase the amount received from council.
