The lands were designated surplus about a month ago.
If they aren't sold by December 31st, the properties will be turned over to a real estate agent.
But 87 acres are being held in case Doctor Bill Shotyck does come up with plans to build a research centre, but he has to have a business plan in place by March 15th or those will lands will too become surplus.
