Reward In Murder Case

Police in Barrie are to announce a reward in a five and half year old murder.

Police in Barrie are to announce a reward in a five and half year old murder.

Chief Mark Neelin is expected to announce at 1 PM on Monday that money will be offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the murder of April Dobson.

In the early morning hours of October 14th, 2005, the 40 year old was shot while sitting on the front porch of a co-worker's home on Browning Trail in the Letitia Heights district.

The bullet hit Dobson in the head and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

A witness reported seeing a young man running from the area and getting on a mountain bike and leaving the neighbourhood.
