Clearview Police Chase

Sunday drive ends up in charges for 50 year old Georgian Bluffs woman.

A woman from Georgian Bluffs was in court this week to face a long list of charges after a chase through Clearview Township.

Police say they were alerted about the vehicle the 50 year old woman was driving in an erratic manner on Highway 26 just before 11 PM on Sunday.

Officers located the car headed northbound on 124 near Duntroon, but the driver didn't stop when police flashed their lights.

She finally pulled over near Nottawa.

Police say the car was reported stolen in February from a home in Huron-Kinloss.

Police also say the driver had an open bottle of liquor in the vehicle, and was driving under suspension, and was impaired.

She was held for a court appearance in Barrie on Monday.
