Clara McAdam of the OSCVI has accepted a full tennis scholarship from West Virginia State

McAdam has a long history in the sport locally, beginning at the former tennis bubble at Stone Tree and advancing through a variety of tennis opportunities leading to the scholarship opportunity

Matthieu Orr of Wasaga Beach carded the low score of the day with a 77 to take the Bantam boys division.

Taylor Straeche of Keswick defeated Thomas Scott of Holland Landing on the first playoff hole to capture the Junior Boys title.

Sydney Gallant shot an 87 to earn the Barrie native top honour in the Girls Division

Daniella Hopper, also of Barrie, took the Bantam Girls title with a 99.

Sunday, the BAGS Tour is at Muskoka Highlands Golf Club

The Owen Sound E! Embroidery NorthStars split their games defeating Burlington 10-6 but losing 10-5 to Orangeville.

Sarah Nichols & Torrie Barfoot were the leading scorers for E! Embroidery in the 2 games

 

Under 11 Girls Field Lacrosse

The Owen Sound Optometrists split their games beating Oakville 6-5, but losing 10-2 to the Beaches. 

Lauren Radbourne and Kariya Beach both scored 3 goals each for the Optometrists in the win over Oakville
