Simcoe Grey MP a Secretary

Two posts as Parliamentary Secretary for rookie Conservative MP Kellie Leitch.

Simcoe Grey's MP may not have made it to the front benches with a cabinet post, but is now on the path toward the federal cabinet

Kellie Leitch has been given two parliamentary secretary jobs.

She's one of 28 MPs to be given such positions in the 39-member cabinet

She's now Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development and to the Minister of Labour.

The positions come with a salary of nearly 16 thousand dollars, on top of the 158 thousand dollar base pay for an MP.
