The Sports Page today is presented by the Owen Sound Attack of the Ontario Hockey league

The Attack thank their fans for the unbelievable support they've received throughout the playoffs & at the Mastercard Memorial Cup this week

Matt Fraser scored the overtime winner for Kootenay

With the win, the Ice stay alive and now will play a tiebreaker game tomorrow night against the loser of the game tonight between the OHL Champion Owen Sound Attack & the St Mike's Majors

The Owen Sound Brick Brothers Volkswagen Selects split their matches with the Wiarton Red Devils

The Red Devils won the opener 13-6.

Brick Brothers won the second game 10-3

Ty Sebastian homered in both games for the Red Devils who will host the OASA Midget Championship in late July

Austin Brown had 3 hits in both games for Owen Sound

Kathleen Whale scored both goals for the Lady Raiders

Walkerton also beat Rockway Mennonite 5 - 1 in the semi-final to earn a berth at the OFSAA Championship near Chatham next week

It's the 4th straight season, Bishop Mac has won the CWOSSA title

Sarah Berge had the try for the Mustangs in the final

Both Bishop MacDonnell & the Lady Mustangs advance to the OFSAA Championship next week at Peterborough

Tomorrow night, the Owen Sound Bluewater ProTeam NorthStars will host Orangeville at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore Community Center



Eastside Spring Basketball

The Heat swept their matches 55-43 over the Mavericks and 61-58 against the Thunder

Nathan Curry had 13 points in the win over the Mavericks while Andrew Easthope led the Heat in their second game with 14 points

In the other game, the Bulls beat the Thunder 75-50

Logan Whitmeyer led the Bulls with 21 points
