Last night at the Memorial Cup in Mississauga, Nashville Predators forward Joel Ward was in attenddance for the Owen Sound Attack game against Kootenay.

Ward is a rarity in many ways.

He's one of the few players to compete for the Owen Sound Greys, the Owen Sound Platers and the Owen Sound Attack.

He's also a rarity in that he was undrafted by NHL teams, played CIS Hockey, and now is on the verge of signing a new contract.
