Home sales slowed a bit in April according to figures released by the Realtors Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound.
President Trisha McKeeman says there were 201 homes sold in the area last month -- down four per cent from a year ago.
The average price for a home in Grey-Bruce was just under 213 thousand dollars -- which is down five percent from 2010.
Although the numbers show a slowdown from a year ago, McKeeman says they look better than March figures which showed a drop of 21 per cent in sales from the previous year.
The total value of all homes sold in April 2011 was nearly 43 million dollars, a drop of 9 percent from the value of homes sold in the same month last year.
