The Huron County Museum and Gaol is celebrating International Museum Day today.
Assistant Curator Elizabeth French-Gibson says both sites will have extended hours from ten in the morning to six in the evening and are offering two-for-one admission.
French-Gibson says they have two great exhibits on at the Museum on North street.
60 Years of Collecting showcases the history of the Huron County Museum and the various items that have been collected, while Fakes and Forgeries is an exhibit on loan from the Royal Ontario Museum.
French-Gibson says there will be activities for kids and families, as well as the regular exhibits at the museum.
She says this is a great opportunity to get the family together and celebrate our community history.
