The Boston Bruins and Tampa Bay Lightning are set to do battle in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference final tonight. The Bruins lost the series opener on Saturday 5-2. Meanwhile, the Sharks and Canucks resume their series in Vancouver tomorrow night. The Canucks took Game One over San Jose on Sunday 3-2.

Atlanta Thrashers president Don Waddell says the team is exploring "all options" for new owners. There are reports that for the first time those options include a group interested in moving the team to Winnipeg. The Thrashers would not confirm negotiations with True North Sports & Entertainment, who would relocate the team to Manitoba.

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks will get going tonight in Game 1 of the N-B-A's Western Conference final in Dallas. Oklahoma City got past Memphis in 7 games in round two, while the Mavs swept the defending champion L-A Lakers 4 straight.

The N-B-A's draft lottery goes tonight in New Jersey. The Toronto Raptors have a 15-point-6 per cent chance of winning the lottery for the first pick overall after finishing 28th out of 30 teams. Minnesota has the best chance at 25 per cent, followed by Cleveland.

The Toronto Blue Jays have made it six wins in a row cooling off Detroit 4-2. Kyle Drabek held the Tigers to a run and three hits in seven innings. The Jays’ victory put an end to Detroit’s 7-game winning streak. Meanwhile, the New York Yankees have their first six-game losing streak in four years after blowing a 5-1 lead last night against Tampa Bay.
