For those campers and RV'ers who enjoy setting up a site at Bluewater Park in Wiarton, changes could be coming for hydro charges in 2012.
South Bruce Peninsula Public Works Manager Phil Dwyer says the town has traditionally charged rental for a site which covers energy costs as well.
But Dwyer says the current system has the town losing money.
Next year the plan is to make it user pay.
Dwyer says they will have hydro meters at each of the sites and renters will pay for the energy they use directly to Ontario Hydro.
Dwyer says it's likely the rates users pay for their rental property will not change in 2012, so the user-pay hydro charge will be an additional cost.
