Two People Robbed Downtown

Two people robbed in Barrie, in separate incidents just a couple of hours apart.

Two people have been robbed in downtown Barrie, in separate incidents just a couple of hours apart.

A 67 year old man was doing his banking at an ATM on Collier Street on Wednesday morning when he was approached by two men asking for some change.

When the man refused, his wallet was grabbed and the two other men ran.

On High Street, a 38 year old woman was at her vehicle when two men approached and one grabbed her purse and they both ran away.

A 21 and 26 year old, both of no fixed address, have been arrested and charged.

No one was hurt.
