Students from across Grey County are celebrating local heritage today.
It is the 4th Annual Grey Roots Regional Heritage Fair at Grey Roots Museum and Archives, just outside of Owen Sound.
Students between Grades 4 to 8 have been chosen from six schools to display their history projects at the Fair.
The students have done research on Canadian heroes, legends, milestones, and achievements.
They will also take part in two workshops, and a one-hour adjudication session where the students will speak about their history projects with judges.
Judges will determine the winners for local, regional, and national awards.
In the past the event has displayed about 60 different projects.
The students' work will be displayed this Friday and Saturday as well to give the public a chance for viewing.
The students are from Sullivan Community, Osprey Central, Riverforest Montessori, Meaford Community, Hillcrest Elementary schools, and Ecole Saint Dominique Savio.
