Elmira Drops Another Game

Sugar Kings fall to 0-2 during round robin play at Sutherland Cup

The Elmira Sugar Kings lost at home Wednesday night to fall to 0 and 2 during round robin play in this year's Sutherland Cup.

The St. Thomas Stars beat the Kings 4-2 inside the Woolwich Dan Snyder Memorial Arena.

The Stars went 2-5 with the man advantage, while the Kings were on the powerplay four times and capitalized just once.

Ryan Clarkson and Lukas Baleshta (powerplay) got the only goals for Elmira.

Drew Collinson had two goals for the Stars, one on the powerplay, while Dylan Thomas (powerplay) and Bowie Horvat added singles.
 
It was the Sugar Kings first game at home inside the Dan Snyder Memorial Arena during Round Robin Action.

St. Thomas is now 1-1 in the Round Robin while Niagara Falls still leads at 2-0.

Niagara Falls and St. Thomas play Friday.
