The Bayshore Community Centre will be filled with home improvement projects and ideas this weekend.
The annual Home and Cottage Expo starts Saturday at the Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound.
Event Facilitator Doug Cleverley says this year they have a record 158 exhibitors, and have been completely sold out of space for a couple of months.
Cleverley says the show has grown so much that they've had to build a whole new space oudoors.
He says they average about four thousand people coming through the doors each year, and consider themselves the regional home and garden show for Grey-Bruce.
Cleverley says people travel from as far away as Huron, Perth, and even Kitchener-Waterloo and the GTA.
Surprisingly, he says when the weather is cold and rainy, they seem to draw more people so he likes the look of this weekend's forecast.
The show is put on by a partnership between the City of Owen Sound, the Grey-Bruce Home Builders and Trades Association and the Knights of Columbus.
Cleverley says all three organizations do great work in the community, and the proceeds of the show go back to initiatives within the community, such as the city's summer day camp program for underprivileged kids.
The show will feature exhibitors with tips, products, and services for home and garden improvements, cottaging and camping accessories, and a brand new Garden Annex outdoors.
There are also door prizes including a deluxe family vacation at the Blue Mountains.
The show runs from 10 AM until 4 PM Saturday, and 10 AM until 5 PM Sunday.
Admission is five dollars.
