Premier McGuinty wants to extend the limit at which public sector salaries are disclosed.
The so-called Sunshine List released Thursday shows salaries over the existing 100-thousand dollar limit are becoming commonplace.
In Huron County alone at least 150 people in the public sector earned six-figure salaries last year.
Again atop the leader-board is Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance CEO Andrew Williams who made 295-thousand dollars -- followed closely by Huron County Medical Officer of Health Doctor Nancy Cameron at 292-thousand.
Education executives are next on the list with Avon-Maitland District School Board Director of Education Ted Doherty earning 183-thousand in 2010.
His counterpart at the Catholic Board Martha Dutrizac's salary last year was 176-thousand.
The highest-paid municipal official locally was Huron County CAO Larry Adams with 162-thousand dollars.
