Bayshore Broadcasting Morning Sports

The Sports today is brought to by the Owen Sound Attack and the " Attack Shack " Merchandise Shop in the main lobby of the Harry Lumley-Bayshore Community Center.

The Attack Shack Feature this week is a marvellous markdown on all Attack & Mercury Jerseys plus all winter jackets have also been reduced.

 

 

Canada Winter Games

The Canada Winter Games at Halifax are underway

The Alpine Skiing event commences this morning at 9:30 am.

Tanis Boisvert of Owen Sound is one of more than 40 skiers in the event.

Her first run is this morning in the Super-Combined at Ski Wentworth

Morgan Potter scored the winning goal for West Hill.

Shae Tiley recorded the shutout for the Lady Raiders

 

 

Bluewater Boys Hockey Semifinal

Sacred Heart Crusaders 9 Georgian Bay Vikings 3

Jake Bross & Alex Kuntz both scored twice for the Crusaders who advance to the Bluewater Final and have also earned a berth at CWOSSA in Guelph next month

Brad Pitt had a 5 point game in the win.

The other semifinal goes this afternoon in Owen Sound as the West Hill Raiders host the Kincardine District Knights at 1 pm at the Coliseum

Brett Catto had a goal & an assist for the Cyclones who are in Owen Sound tonight to face the Greys

Braeden Rigney, a 5 year Grey Bruce Highlander has accepted an offer of an NCAA Division 1 Athletic Scholarship to Canisius College in Buffalo beginning in September
 
Braeden started playing hockey Osprey Minor Hockey and had 1 year in Honeywood before completing 5 years with the Grey Bruce Highlanders. 

He currently plays with the Newmarket Hurricanes Jr. A. Hockey Club.
