There will be plenty of activities to take in on Family Day at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre in Southampton.
Program Co-ordinator Nancy White says they have events planned indoors and outdoors for all ages.
She says there will be demonstrations of historical pastimes like spinning, weaving, knitting, wood-working and corking.
White says these are things that aren't being passed down through generations anymore, and volunteers will be on-hand to show you how.
But if you venture outside, White says they will have snowshoe demonstrations from Thorncrest outfitters to walk around.
There will also be a fiddler and dancer from the Saugeen Historic Metis Association.
The Bruce County Historical Society and the Genealogical Society will also be on hand.
For the kids, entertainer Dickie Bird will be performing at 11:30 AM and at 2:30 PM.
All of the events on Family Day are free, but White says to bring some money because they will have lunch available.
If you decide to buy a family membership to the museum, they will be offered at a 10 per cent discount on Family Day only.
The event will run from 10 AM to 4 PM.
