Nine Vehicles Involved in Crash

South Bruce OPP cruiser and ambulance among vehicles, no one seriously hurt.

Five people were taken to hospital following a multi vehicle crash on County Road 4 between Walkerton and Hanover.

It happened Saturday in Brant Township.

South Bruce OPP were called to what was originally a single vehicle crash.

Officers arrived to find the vehicle had struck a guard rail on County Road 4 where high winds and blowing snow were creating poor visibility.

More vehicles arrived and became involved in separate collisions near the first crash site.

In total, 9 vehicles were involved - including a South Bruce OPP cruiser and an ambulance - in three separate crashes.

Those taken to hospital had only minor injuries.

County Road 4 was closed for a time to protect emergency workers at the scene.

The South Bruce OPP are wanting to speak to the driver a black pickup truck that passed the crash site, wound up in the ditch, and then continued eastbound on Bruce County Road 4.
