Hundreds of people will be stomping out breast cancer at Blue Mountains this weekend.
Spokesperson Steph McLarty says this is the first year teams have been introduced at the annual Tubbs Romp To Stomp at Scenic Caves.
She says 30 teams have signed up for this 4th annual event on Sunday.
Due to the heavy snowfall, the event was cancelled for today, but will be on as scheduled Sunday.
There is a 3 and 5 kilometre snowshoe walk as well as a five kilometre snowshoe race where the more competitive types can get involved.
McLarty says the event has been going on across North America since 2003 with seven romp sites and in Canada, the event is in conjunction with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
She adds over the years, one million dollars has been raised for education and breast cancer research.
Registration starts at 11 o'clock and she expects all the participants to get their pink on and enjoy being outside, the scenery and the purpose.
