Even though we didn't get as much snow as Environment Canada was predicting, it was still a busy day for Public Works departments in Wasaga Beach, Collingwood and in Clearview.
Wasaga's Director Kevin Lalonde tells us the town has had to extend some plow drivers' hours since the snow accumulation started early in the day and continued right through the morning.
Lalonde does tells us that drifting along the shoreline streets will be a big challenge to deal with.
In Collingwood, Public Works Director Ed Houghton says they have been concentrating on the collector and arterial roads, and hope to get into the subdivisions after that..
And in Clearview Township, Tony Clark at Public Works tells us that it's much of the same story there.
He says they have gotten used to the snow this winter, so his drivers were all ready for Wednesday's stormy conditions.
