Wasaga Beach Mayor Cal Patterson says the town is definitely concerned about the potential for flooding this coming spring.
Patterson says he can't see how it could be any worse than 2009, but adds that a lot of the work they wanted to do hasn't been done yet, because of the trillium berm issue and what they are planning on doing there to curb the flooding.
He says the town will have to have some serious discussion in the coming months to address what may happen this spring.
And Patterson says that it's very hard to plan for what might happen, but says the weather may give us a slow melt instead.
But he's quick to add that there is a lot of snow out there.
