Leafs Legend Bower will Attend Saturday’s Game against Guelph

The Owen Sound Attack, in partnership with Centennial Windows is pleased to announce that Toronto Maple Leafs legend Johnny Bower will be on hand this Saturday, February 6th to drop the puck when the Attack take on the Guelph Storm.
Bower, a longtime supporter of Centennial Windows will be in Owen Sound on Saturday at Heritage Place Shopping Centre from 1PM to 3 PM signing autographs with Attack goaltenders Scott Stajcer and one of either Jordan Binnington or Michael Zador. Starting on Thursday, fans who visit Heritage Place Shopping Centre will have the opportunity to fill out a ballot and enter into a draw for them and three friends to take in Saturday evening’s game against Guelph in a private suite with Leafs Legend, Johnny Bower.

Bower wore the Blue and White for eleven full NHL seasons and parts of two others and is easily the most recognizable goaltender in franchise history. Known as “The China Wall”, Bower won 219 regular season games for the Maple Leafs, was a two time Vezina trophy winner in 1961 and 1965 and won four Stanley Cups with the Maple Leafs in 1962, 1963, 1964 and 1967.
