Beth Ross is retiring in the summer after 23 years of service to Huron County.

Huron County's head librarian and Director of Cultural Services is hanging up her hat.

Beth Ross is retiring in the summer after 23 years of service to the County.

Ross moved to Huron County in 1988 to become the Chief Librarian and her role expanded through the years to include the Museum and Gaol.

She says working with dedicated staff all over the County to provide library services and preserve the regions history has been extremely important to her.

Ross says she's happy to work with the County to find and help train a suitable replacement for this position.

As for her future plans, Ross says she's been working ever since she got out of school so she has a long list of things she'd like to accomplish.
