Attack Win Over Storm

Owen Sound | by Jon Meyer

After a 4-3 loss in Guelph, the Owen Sound Attack return home for 3-1 victory.

Andrew Shaw's short handed goal stood as the game winner as the Owen Sound Attack beat the Guelph Storm 3-1 at home.

The win gives the attack the split with the Storm in their home and home weekend series.

Joey Hishon scored his 27th of the year for the Attack last night, giving him 100 career OHL goals.

With the win, Owen Sound is now 1st in the OHL's Midwest Division.

The Attack had three special team goals, two on the power play and the short handed game winning goal by Shaw.

Jordan Binnington only had to make 17 saves, but his 20th win moves him into 10th all time in Attack/Platters history in terms of wins for goaltenders.

The Attack play their third game in two and half days this afternoon when they travel to Brampton.
