A Busy Day in Local High School Hoops

In Bluewater Boys Senoir Basktball,

In Meaford, Grey Highlands netted 46 to beat Georgian Bay Secondary School who had 30.

In the battle of Owen Sound, OSCVI sneaked by West Hill 64-60.

West Hill took the lead early in the first quarter, but OSCVI got ahead. WHSS tied it up several times, but ran out of time in the last quarter.

Kevin Bunn poured in 25 points for OSCVI while Curtis McLeod had 23 points for West Hill in the battle of Owen Sound.

In the Junior Game,

OSCVI's 57 points were good enough to take their game against West Hill who had 29.

OSCVI's Nathan Curry lead all scorers with 22 points, while Oliver Clark had 10 points

West Hills top scorer was Lucas Miller with 8 points

In other Senior Boys Basketball at St. Mary's, the Mustangs defeated the Peninsula Shores Phoenix 54 to 48. 

Nick Murphy led the Mustangs with 17 points.

In the junior game, the Phoenix beat the Mustangs 46 to 32 with Brandon Lancaster scoring 20 points for the Phoenix and Jocob Hill scoring 16 points for the Mustangs.

Saugeen District Senior Boys played at Chesley District and SDSS won against with a score of 67-34. 

Stuart Ensing from SDSS was the top scorer with a total of 21 points, while Kevin Gowan was the top scorer from CDHS with 16 points.
