Belcourt & Gillespie Among BAGS Winners

Sudden death playoff decides the title for Belcourt at the BAGS Junior Tour event at Harbour View GC.

Gilford, Ont., June 13, 2010 – The BAGS Junior Tour players descended on the small town of Gilford to compete in the fourth event of the season at Harbour View Golf Club. For the second week in a row Mother Nature cooperated and the players enjoyed ideal golfing conditions. It took Nikki Belcourt of Elmvale an extra hole to claim her first victory of the season in the Girls division over Barrie's Corinne Grans-Wood. Grans-Wood has a stranglehold on the Order of Merit race with no worse that a T1 in 4 events. Wasaga Beach's Matthieu Orr and Hepworth's TJ Gillespie fired 75's en route to winning the Bantam and Juvenile divisions respectively. Greg Brown of Clarksburg notched his second victory of the year taking the Juniors title.
