And an update - Grey Bruce Public Health reports there's been a positive Covid-19 lab report for a staff member at Grey Gables long term care home.

The discovery was made during universal testing at the facility.

An outbreak status could be declared at Grey Gables if that case is confirmed positive in subsequent retesting. The results of the retesting could come today (May 18th) or tomorrow (May 19th.)

The employee is currently in self-isolation at their place of residence.

The long-term care home has been notified as well, with all staff, residents and family notified.

In the meantime, all outbreak protocols, case management and contact tracing activities are in place to ensure safety while they await confirmation.
