Alleged Drug Dealers Caught Napping On Sunset Strip

Police arrest, charge two males after responding to suspicious car report.

Two alleged drug dealers face charges after getting caught napping at the wrong time.

Grey Bruce OPP say officers were dispatched to a suspicious car behind an undisclosed business at Highway 6/21 on the Sunset Strip outside of Owen Sound just prior to 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say two persons were found sleeping in the car.

OPP say officers observed stolen property in the vehicle. The two males were arrested and the car was searched.

Police say drugs and drug paraphernalia were discovered inside.

Provincial Police say the investigation also led them to locate and recover a sport utility vehicle that had been reported stolen on April 29.

Two males from Owen Sound, ages 23 and 20, face numerous charges including drug trafficking and property crime related offences.

The accused were released for a July court date in Owen Sound.
