No New COVID-19 Cases In Grey Bruce Tuesday

Third day in past week the region has had zero known infections.

Another positive sign when it comes to flattening the COVID-19 curve in Grey Bruce, as the Health Unit reported zero new known infections on Tuesday.

It's the third day in the past week the region has had no new daily case growth.

To date, there have been 88 laboratory confirmed positive tests in Grey Bruce. Sixty-one people have already recovered. There have been no deaths attributed to the virus.

No one is currently hospitalized due to COVID-19 in the region.

Two long-term care facilities in Grey Bruce -- Brucelea Haven in Walkerton and Parkview Manor in Chesley -- remain in COVID-19 outbreak.

On Monday, Grey Bruce's Medical Officer of Health Dr. Ian Arra said all staff and residents were tested at Chesley's Parkview Manor and only one came back positive and the person had no symptoms. A handful of other results are pending.
