Headwaters Health Care Thanks Generous Donors

Orangeville | by Jill Young

Headwaters Health Care has had many donations during the pandemic, those donations matched by the community.

In these unprecendented times, the Dufferin Caledon Community has stepped up to help Headwaters Health Care.

Orangeville’s hospital team is saying a heartfelt thank you to the community for coming forward in the last few weeks to help.

They say long time Headwaters supporter Anne Livingston, generously matched all gifts made to their COVID19 Response, up to $40,000.

With that, just one week later, they exceeded our target of $40,000, having raised a combined total of $91,780.

Nobis Canada stepped up, and offered up another one-week challenge, to a maximum of $20,000, a matching gift that raised a combined $54,768 for Headwaters.

Currently the Foundation is running its 3rd (and final) matching gift program. Thank you to TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley in association with the Humeniuk Foundation, who is matching the community donations up to $50,000 between April 13th and May 1st.

Since March 24th 552 gifts were made between $10 and $4,999. 14 gifts were made ranging between $5,000 and $9,999. And, two gifts were made between $10,000 and $24,999!

The following individuals, families and companies have made gifts of $25,000 or more:

The Headwaters Health Care Auxiliary & Seconds Count

Steve and Sandra Hartman Charitable Family Foundation

TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley in association with the Humeniuk Foundation

Anne Livingston

Employees of Royal Chevrolet Cadillac Inc.

The Hamamy Family

The grand total raised to-date from donors and initiatives is just shy of $675,000.
