22 Charged After Police Chase Through Gorrie

OPP say pickup driver raced by cyclist, skidded through intersection before being arrested.

A 22 year old woman has been charged, after a chase with police in Gorrie.

OPP say a pickup without licence plates was observed travelling along Gough Road, when officers attempted to stop the vehicle.

According to reports, the pickup driver immediately accelerated and fled from police, where they raced by a cyclist, skidded through an intersection, and drove across a lawn.

Police say the driver ended the chase by parking at a property on Alma Street, where they were arrested without incident.

A Wellington North woman is facing four charges, including flight from police, and driving without plates.

The accused has a date in Goderich Court for July 6th.
