The latest numbers from local health officials show Dufferin County has a total of 42 confirmed cases of coronavirus.

In Caledon, that number sits at 34 for now.

Meanwhile, there are three new cases of COVID-19 in Grey County and Bruce.

There are three total cases reported in Southgate, and three in Grey Highlands, and are believed to be due to community transmission.

There have been 401 new cases of COVID-19 in Ontario – and more hospitalizations.

Another 21 people have died from the virus, bringing the total number to 274.

Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health said on the weekend they appear to be bending the curve at least.

There have been over 7,000 confirmed cases across the province in total, which includes both recoveries and deaths.

COVID 19 has hit long term care homes pretty bad in the province.

A home in Bobcaygeon, which has seen 30 deaths since mid-March from the virus, has not seen a new death in the last few days.

Meanwhile at a home in Markham, there has been 9 deaths, 5 people died at one in North York.

16 residents and four staff have tested positive at a home in Brampton.

Locally, Shelburne Residence and Dufferin Oaks in Shelburne have had 10 COVID-19 cases in total, but no deaths.
