Dufferin Oaks Needs TV Tables and Homemade Gowns

Shelburne | by Jill Young

The long term care home needs TV tables for residents eating meals in their room, and homemade cloth gowns.

If you’re looking to help out the local community, a long term care home is looking for a couple of items.

Dufferin Oaks is looking for TV tables, or over bed tables that are good quality and stable.

Residents are being served in their rooms during the isolation period,  and it will help to put their meal trays on.

They are also looking for polyester material only hospital gowns.

The gowns can be used as Personal Protective Equipment for staff and will help them preserve their supply of disposable ones.

For those crafty people out there, a pattern is posted here for you to make the gowns:

No other items other than those are being accepted at this time.

To arrange a drop off call 519-925-2140 ext. 5263 or knorris@dufferincounty.ca
