Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the organizing committee for the Crime Stoppers of Grey-Bruce Annual Golf Tournament has made the decision to cancel the tournament for this year.
This decision was not made lightly. " We have been engaging with key stakeholders for the past few weeks,
since this has become a global pandemic. Our priority has always been to provide a high-quality fundraising
experience for you and Crime Stoppers of Grey-Bruce. Crime Stoppers relies heavily on the funds that you help
us raise each year. An important aspect of the high-quality experience is that you ( our golfers ) enjoy a day of
fellowship and golf while raising significant funds.
On that note, we are asking that you consider supporting Crime Stoppers by donating your golf registration
fee. In return you will receive a tax receipt for the full $175.00. If you choose not to donate your registration fee,
we will provide a refund on a timely basis. Please advise Paula Culbert email@example.com of your
decision prior to April 30, 2020.
The committee is investigating the merits of an on-line auction to give you access to items that will also
contribute to the events success. More details will follow by the end of April.
We have already begun planning for the 28th Annual Tournament to be held on June 4, 2021 at Saugeen
Golf Club. Please plan on helping us perpetuate the great work that Crime Stoppers does for our community,
during this year of interruption and beyond.
We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your ongoing support.
Our hope is that you and your family stay safe and your business returns to prosperity quickly in the wake
of this overwhelming challenge that we are all dealing with.
Please share this important update and our request for your financial support, to the other members of your group.
