Grey County has launched a Business Resiliency Map. It allows businesses that are still operating through COVID-19 to promote services and changes with a free listing.
The County says it lists essential services that remain open including both brick-and-mortar locations, and businesses that have moved sales entirely online. More are being added and businesses are encouraged to contact the county to add themselves to the list.
County reps say they were hearing businesses wanted a way to get the message out that they are open.
The map includes grocery stores and other food retail stores, pharmacies, healthcare providers, deliver services, alcohol retailers, online-only businesses, community food programs and other essential businesses.
To create or edit a listing, send an email to email@example.com.
New listings should contain: Business name, Business address, Phone number,
Email, Social media. You can add notes about online ordering; home delivery; curbside pick-up;or other services related to pandemic safety.
The site is being created in partnership with Bayshore Broadcasting and local municipalities.
Meanwhile, the county has more COVID-19 resources including a web page to help businesses navigate the different resources available and feedback opportunities.
