The Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario is said to be going back to the bargaining table.
ETFO says if the contract talks Wednesday are not successful, they will resume strike action on Monday following the March break.
The last time the two sides were at the table was the end of January.
Education Minister Stephen Lecce says the government is completely focused on getting a deal that keeps class sizes small, gives full support for special education, and ensures merit-based hiring.
He says they are focused on negotiating so kids can stay in the classroom.
