Driver Caught Going Three Times the Speed Limit

Caledon OPP say they caught a vehicle going 137 km/h in a 40 zone, a community safety zone.

A driver has been charged with going over three times the limit in Caledon.

OPP say Wednesday March 4th, just after 10:30 in the morning, an officer was doing speed enforcement on Bramalea Road and noticed a vehicle speeding through a community safety zone with two schools and a community centre nearby.

The motorist was found to be going 137 km/h in a 40 zone.   

The 20-year-old man from Caledon was charged with Stunt Driving, and Driving While under Suspension -- his driver's license was suspended at the time of the stop.
