Changes to Education Plans Amid Teachers Strikes

The government has changed their position on higher class sizes and mandatory e-learning for students.

Some changes are being made to education now by the Ontario government.

Monday, the Education Minister announced the government has changed their position on higher class sizes and mandatory e-learning for students.

Stephen Lecce said yesterday, that the government is proposing an average of 23 students in high school classes e-learning requirements would be something students could opt out of.

Thursday some secondary school, all english catholic school and french-language school teachers will conduct their latest walkout.

There are no walkouts planned by the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario for this week.
