Huronia West OPP Investigating Armed Robbery

On Friday night, police say a person was approached at the intersection of John and Perry Streets by a man with a knife, who demanded money.

Huronia west OPP are investigating an armed robbery.

On Friday night, police say a person was approached at the intersection of John and Perry Streets by a man with a knife, who demanded money they had just withdrawn from a nearby ATM and then fled the scene.

Police are looking for the assistance of the public to help identify the suspect, who is described as:

  • Male
  • Nose piercing on the right nostril with white or clear-coloured stud
  • Scar on the left hand between thumb and index finger
  • Limp on the right side
  • Wearing a balaclava at the time of the incident 

Police believe there may be witnesses to this event who were driving or walking in the area at the time of the offence.
